Apex built this drop-in kit with a solid aluminum trigger body and a center-mounted pivoting safety that keeps factory safety values intact—no shortcuts. You’ll see about a 1-2 pound reduction in pull weight, roughly 20% less pre-travel and over-travel, and a reset you can actually feel. That’s a big deal on a compact platform.
It’s designed for duty and carry, so it’s not some race gun part that’s sketchy for daily use. Just keep in mind it won’t fit the Shield .45 ACP or the Gen 1 Shield. We strongly recommend having a gunsmith install the Ultimate Striker Block into the slide—Apex says it, and we back it. Finish is black, and it’s built to hold up.
