Serial no. T53032732. Manufactured in 1955, chambered in 7.62x54R, 20.5″ round barrel. Bore is good with strong, well-defined rifling noted. Serial numbers are non-matching. The stock appears to have had a coat of brown paint applied at some point and shows expected handling and usage wear, giving the carbine a distinctive military appearance. The cleaning rod has been removed. The Chinese Type 53 was based closely on the Soviet M44 Mosin-Nagant carbine and saw extensive military service during the Cold War era. Action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
