Serial numbers are matching, while the magazine and nose cap are unnumbered. Metal retains a post-war black painted finish with expected high-edge wear noted. Stock remains in good condition with handling and service wear consistent with military use. Of particular interest, the fore-end has been reinforced with the distinctive wire wrapping associated with rifles prepared for use with a cup-type rifle-grenade launcher, providing additional strength to withstand the stresses generated during grenade launching..
