This is a full box of .45-70 blank cartridges made by the United States Cartridge Company, listed used under SKU AM670 in the accessories, scopes and ammo category. Blanks carry no projectile, so this box is a cartridge collector's item rather than ammunition for the range. The listing states a full box but gives no round count, headstamp detail or box condition beyond the used grade.

In Montana this box belongs with the collector of American cartridges and their packaging rather than with the hunter. A full box from U.S. Cartridge Co. in .45-70 fills a gap in a display of that cartridge and period boxes, and it also suits a shooter who collects the .45-70 in all its forms and wants the blank variant beside the loaded ones. The supplier sells it as a used box of shells, and nothing in the listing suggests these should be fired.
