An Al Mar Special USMC knife with a bone handle, measuring 12.5 inches overall with an 8-inch blade. The supplier rates its overall condition excellent, and it comes with a display case. It is a used consignment piece.

This is a fighting-knife pattern, and the bone handle and included case point to a knife kept for display rather than hard field use. For a Montana buyer that means a collector's knife first: the 8-inch blade is large, the excellent grade suggests it has been looked after, and the case lets you show it without handling. If you prefer, it is still a real knife of full size that could ride in a pack. Consignment items like this come as described by the supplier, so the stated measurements and grade are what you are buying; look to the photographs for the sheath and markings.
