A Freedom Arms Model 83 Field Grade from the 1980s, chambered in .454 Casull with a 7.5-inch barrel. It is a big-bore single-action revolver built from stainless steel, with an adjustable sight and rubber grips. Wear is light, overall condition is very good, and the original box is included.

The Model 83 is a handgun for people who want a lot of cartridge in a revolver frame, and the 7.5-inch barrel and adjustable sight point toward deliberate, aimed shooting rather than pocket carry. Buying one in Montana is straightforward: no state permit, no registration and no waiting period, just the federal Form 4473 and a current government photo ID at the dealer, who runs the check through NICS because Montana is not a point-of-contact state. You must be 21 and not a prohibited person under state or federal law.
