This Ross Mk I bayonet, SKU MEW4179, is the scarce U.S.-marked version and comes with its scabbard. The blade runs 10 inches. The pommel cap is stamped ROSS RIFLE Co., QUEBEC, PATENTED 1907 on one side; the other side carries a C around the broad arrow, 08, a crown and 8, with the manufacture date given as 7-10. The wood grips show a flaming bomb over U.S. on one face and the unit marking K60 on the other.

The blade keeps its factory edge, with light discoloration on parts of the surface. The brown leather scabbard is in fine condition and still shows its own flaming bomb and U.S. stamp. For a Montana collector of Ross rifles or of U.S.-marked foreign arms, the matching U.S. marks on both bayonet and scabbard are what make this one hard to find, and it suits a Ross rifle rig missing its bayonet or a shelf of U.S.-marked military blades.
