A Japanese-built Browning Citori Grade III over-and-under in 12 gauge, dating to around 1987 by its serial number. The 26-inch barrels carry a vent rib, 3-inch chambers and interchangeable screw-in chokes. The receiver is coin-finished and engraved, the rest of the metal is blued, and the gun has a single selective trigger, ejectors and a manual safety. The high-gloss walnut is nicely figured and checkered, with a 14.25-inch length of pull to the original pad.
Montana's general deer and elk season runs Oct. 24 to Nov. 29 in 2026, and a 12 gauge loaded with slugs or 0/00 buckshot is a lawful choice, including inside the weapons restriction areas that are limited to shotguns, muzzleloaders or traditional handguns. The short 26-inch barrels keep it quick-handling for the rest of the year on clays or in the field. Condition is very good, with some light handling marks and excellent bores.
